Seabreeze is a fast growing big bamboo.  It gets about 40′ tall and has a culm size of about 21/4″.  This is an excellent plant for screening.  It is very upright and has a wonderful green color that is year round.  Many people are using this bamboo for screening smaller spaces by removing pieces of it every year.  This gives a great effect of a big bamboo in a small planter which can be very useful for screening 2-3 story buildings.  The spacing is 5-7′ on center but I have had many people plant it closer for a more immediate effect.
