Sunburst bamboo is a beautiful bamboo that gets around 45′ tall with 21/2″ culms.  It has an upright growth pattern and is fairly open in structure.  Sunburst is a nice centerpiece and can fit into a small yard since it grows so straight.  It is resistant to sooty mold and looks great when the lower branches are trimmed to show off the yellow and green stripes.
